COVID-19 Update
These are unusual times. Due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak and subsequent restrictions, we have had to make the difficult decision to suspend all public meetings of Lamplight until further notice. We will continue to post weekly sermon messages to our website on Sundays as we encourage everyone to listen in and follow along with us.
We are still here. We still care about this city and our neighbours. We still want to help where we can. This is the way of Jesus. If you would like to reach us, please email us at info@lamplightchurch.ca. May you stay healthy and connected through these challenging times.

[contact-form-7]The Road Ahead
Romans 12:4-8 (NIV)
“For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.”
2014 was a great year of strengthening and growth – and we are believing Jesus for another year of His faithfulness!
Here are some key milestones / priorities we see on “The Road Ahead”…
(In no particular order.)
1. Re-invigorated Connect Groups
Two new weekly groups will be starting up in February, one on Wednesday in Kitchener and the other on Thursday in Waterloo, from 7:30pm.
By the end of the year we will have 4 groups.
2. Street Level Festivals
As part of our vision to be a visible Christian community we are going to be serving up free water at a number of “mainstream” festivals in the Kitchener Waterloo area this year.
3. Street Level Picnic
The second Sunday in August, we will be in Victoria Park for a picnic with face-painting and other free stuff to bless the community.
4. Christians Against Poverty – coming February 8th
Christians Against Poverty will be making a presentation on February 8th (at Brunch). Come along and find out how this ministry helps people who struggle to balance their budget (isn’t that everyone?).
5. Church Weekend Away – July 18th or 25th
Venue and Date TBC – a fun weekend away for the whole family.
6. Whatever the Lord leads you to
As a community together we believe that everyone can lead in the area they are called to. Speak to a leader if you have a burning idea.
